Meeting with First-Year Students at Yessenov University

On September 1, Yessenov University held its first meeting with first-year students at the beginning of the new academic year.

During the meeting, students were introduced to the university’s academic environment, educational opportunities and student life. The importance of mutual respect, responsibility, collaboration and active civic engagement was also emphasised.

Particular attention was given to explaining the key provisions of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Students discussed such fundamental principles as respect for human rights and freedoms, the rule of law, social harmony and civic responsibility. First-year students were also introduced to the significance of the values enshrined in the Constitution for every citizen and for the future of the country.
